Collection Concept 03

T-Shirts and Tops

The most worn item in any wardrobe deserves real attention — fits, fabrics, graphic styles, layering and care, explained clearly.

Everyday Essentials

The tee family

Each style below plays a different role. A balanced wardrobe usually includes a few from each category.

Type 01

Plain crewneck

The essential. Neutral colors in good fabric are the base of countless outfits.

Type 02

Graphic tee

Expression in its simplest form — art, type or symbols front and center.

Type 03

Long sleeve

A transitional piece that layers under shirts and over-tees in cooler weather.

Type 04

Pocket & henley

Small details that add workwear character while staying understated.

Graphic T-Shirt Styles

Reading a graphic

Graphic tees range from whisper-quiet to full volume. Knowing the categories helps you build a balanced rotation.

A

Wordmark & type

Clean lettering, often small on the chest or large across the back. Easy to wear with almost anything.

B

Illustration

Artwork-led designs that act as the focal point. Keep the rest of the outfit simple.

C

Vintage-inspired

Faded inks, distressed textures and retro layouts with a lived-in feel.

D

Abstract & geometric

Shapes, lines and patterns that feel modern without spelling anything out.

E

Tonal print

Ink close to the fabric color — subtle, textural and quietly premium.

F

All-over print

Pattern covering the whole garment. Bold; pair with solid, neutral pieces.

Oversized vs Regular Fits

Fit changes everything

Look at shoulder seam position, body width and length — these three measurements define how a tee will read on you.

Fabric Considerations

Weight, weave, feel

Fabric weight is commonly described in grams per square meter (GSM). Lighter jerseys drape and breathe; heavier ones hold structure and feel substantial — a hallmark of many contemporary streetwear tees.

Light

Roughly 120–160 GSM

Airy and soft. Great for hot weather and layering under other pieces.

Mid

Roughly 160–200 GSM

The everyday balance of comfort, drape and durability.

Heavy

Roughly 200 GSM and above

Structured and boxy-friendly. Holds shape and suits oversized fits.

Layering Basics & Color Combinations

Small moves, big difference

Layering basics

  • Long sleeve under a short-sleeve tee for a classic skate look
  • Plain tee under an open overshirt or flannel
  • Let a longer tee hem show below a cropped hoodie
  • Keep the base layer thinner than the layer above it

Color combinations

  • White tee + black pants: timeless, impossible to get wrong
  • Gray tee + off-white pants + one bright accessory
  • Black graphic tee + washed denim + lime accent
  • Tonal earth tones: cream, sand and brown together

Outfit Styling Ideas

Tee-led outfits

Formulas built around a single tee — adapt them to your colors and taste. For complete looks, see the Streetwear Collection guide.

01

Minimal monochrome

Heavyweight black tee, black straight-leg trousers, white sneakers.

02

Graphic focus

Bold graphic tee, neutral cargos, plain cap — let the print speak.

03

Smart casual

Crisp white tee, pleated trousers, unstructured jacket, clean leather shoes.

Apparel Care Basics

Make them last

  • Always follow the care label first — it is specific to the garment.
  • Turn tees inside out before washing to protect prints and color.
  • Cold or cool water helps reduce shrinkage and fading.
  • Air-dry flat or on a hanger when possible; high heat stresses fibers and prints.
  • Avoid ironing directly on graphics.
  • Fold heavier tees instead of hanging them to prevent shoulder stretch.
